Singing for Intermediates - 4 to 6 students - 1 hour
Wednesdays and Thursdays - 7pm
This is course is suitable for students with some vocal technique or students that have been at least one term in the Singing for Beginners course. All new students willing to join that course will be evaluated by the teacher prior to the course commencing.
Singing for Improvers - 4 to 6 students - 1 hour
Wednesdays and Thursdays - 8pm
Course for advanced singing students or students that have done the 2 previous courses. Always based in one-to-one and group exercises, the students will study 1 or 2 songs to perform at the end of each term.
Vocal Technique - 6 to 12 students
Tuesdays at 6pm at The Salvation Army, Paignton.
This course is suitable for choir singers who wish to improve their singing technique and breathing control in order to perform better in the choir. Group work with individual attention and preparing a group song.

Ladies' Choir - 12 to 30 singers - 2 hours
Tuesdays 7pm at The Salvation Army, Paignton.
The Lady's Choir started in Brixham ACL a couple of years ago. Our repertoire is varied, going from Pop to Classical and we prepare concerts each term, including concerts for charity. It is a friendly group, composed by 3 voices (soprano, mezzo soprano and alto). For all new members a voice evaluation will precede the course to classify your voice into one of the three categories of female voices. It is advisable to anyone wanting to join the choir to also join the 'Vocal Technique for Singers' course, although it is not compulsory.
Children's Choir - 12 to 20 singers - 1 hour
Tuesdays 4h30 pm at the Salvation Army, Paignton
For children from 7 to 12 years old, boys and girls. Varied repertoire. Learn to sing songs in a friendly group in the viewing of a performance at the end of each term.

Sight singing means: Reading music and singing at first sight. This course prepares for singing exams grade 1 to 5.
