Vocal Technique - 6 to 18 students - 1 hour per week - 30 weeks
Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at The Salvation Army, Paignton. (Another group may be put in place on Wednesdays 6 to 7 p.m.)
This course is suitable for choir singers who wish to improve their singing technique and breathing control in order to perform better in the choir.
Group work with individual attention. Part of the Bay Ladies' Choir rehearsal.
Annual fee: £180 upfront, £x £60 cheques or 10x £18 installments by standing order.
Choirs
Ladies' Choir - 12 to 18 singers - 3 hours per week - 30 weeks + 2 Saturdays afternoon per term
Tuesdays 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Salvation Army, Paignton.
The Ladies' Choir started in Brixham ACL in 2007. Our repertoire is varied, going from Pop to Classical and we prepare concerts each term, including concerts for charity, participation in local festivals and events. It is a friendly group, composed by 3 voices (soprano, mezzo soprano and alto). For all new members a voice evaluation will precede the course to classify your voice into one of the three categories of female voices. Vocal technique course is included. Children's Choir - 12 to 30 singers - 1 hour per week - 30 weeks
Tuesdays from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Salvation Army, Paignton.
For children from 7 to 12/14 years old, boys and girls.
Varied repertoire. Learn to sing songs in a friendly group in the viewing of a performance at the end of each term.
Piano and singing students: compulsory presence.
Annual fee: £150, 3x £50 or 10x £15 installments by standing order.
Sing-a-Song - Simply Singing - 18 to 50 singers - 2 hours per week - 30 weeks
Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
New mixed voices group for adults all ages (minimum age accepted: 16), all levels. Come and sing in a relaxed atmosphere,
the songs you love to sing. No previous experience required. Friendly atmosphere and musical sharing.
Annual fee: £180, 3x £60 cheques or 10x £18 installments by standing order. .
Music Theory
Sight Singing - 6 to 10 students - 1 hour per week - 30 weeks
Mondays 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sight singing means: Reading music and singing at first sight. This course prepares for singing exams grade 1 to 5.
Annual fee : £150 upfront, 3x £50 cheques or 10x £15 installments by standing order.
Free of charge for singing/piano students.
Music Theory Grade 1 - 6 to 10 students - 1 hour per week - 30 weeks
Mondays 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (A class may be added at 5 p.m.)
For all students. These courses prepare for ABRSM exams grade 1.
Compulsory for all singing and piano students.
Annual fee: £150 upfront, 3x £50 cheques or 10x £15 installments by standing order.
Free of charge for piano and singing students.

Students can study for their ABRSM up to grade 8 and through their diploma.

1 hour lesson - 3-4 students per hour - 30 weeks:
Annual fee: £1,080 upfront, 3x £360 cheques or 10x £108 monthly installments by standing order.
Pay as you go*: £40 per lesson.
Administration fee for all students: £10 (when enrolling for the school year)
*Pay as you go is an option for students who wish to pay weekly.
It still commits the student to a weekly based lesson, for the whole term. Missed lessons still require notice or they will be charged.
